I don’t know if it’s true, but a friend said they are part of a restaurant group that includes Shu in Fairfield, CT and Shu in West Hartford, CT. We’ve been to the former, and it’s not bad. But for Sichuan food, if you’re willing to drive a bit deeper into CT, I would recommend Lao Sze Chuan in Milford. It’s our go-to, and the clientele is typically 80% Chinese whenever we go, which is a good sign. And, when you’re up there, check out G Mart, a large Chinese supermarket a couple miles away!
